DAVID PEARCE RECEIVES GRASSROOT SUPPORT FOR SENATE
JEFFERSON CITY (April 17): State Rep. David Pearce, a Republican candidate for the 31st Senatorial District, reported earlier this week that his Senate campaign has raised more than $133,000.
Rep. Pearce, who is currently serving his third term in the Missouri House of Representatives, has raised $133,665 in the Senate race. He reported cash on hand of $100,545 in the April 15 campaign finance filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
“I very pleased with the donations we received during this period for two reasons,” said Rep. Pearce, who is serving his third term in the House of Representatives. “First of all, the demands of the legislative session have left little time for fundraising during the past three months. I also am proud that of the 28 donations received this past quarter, 13 were for $100 or less, which to me represents very important grassroots support.”
Rep. Pearce is a Republican candidate for the Senate in the 31st District, which includes Cass, Bates, Vernon and Johnson counties.
